A five-storey townhouse, quietly reorganised from cellar to roof.
The challenge
Decades of subdivision had left the house dark and disjointed.
The solution
We reopened the original stair, lowered the cellar into a garden-level kitchen and replaced every window with slim timber sashes.
The outcome
The house now uses a fraction of the energy it once did, and feels like a single home again.
