A long, low brick house reflected in a still water garden.
The challenge
The client wanted a single-storey home to grow old in, with long views of the valley.

A dark brick volume runs the length of the plot. Living spaces face south over a reflecting pool. Bedrooms face the morning.
The outcome
Every room is step-free. Every window frames a hill.
